Extreme Sleep Deprivation. Sigh. And smart me, tried to do laundry this morning.. and in my sleepy state, forgot to choose the right option. Hope my clothes are ok. =( Been really tired. too much travelling. But i'm feeling... quite happy. =)
I seriously got to get down to doing some work. Tsk. Disgusting.... My room is in a terrible state as well. I've got no class today, but woke up early to try to clear things. But ... i'm tired... Should i go back to sleep? (i've got so much to do, but i decide to blog. doesnt this say alot abt the things i need to do?)
Had a seminar yesterday. For Neuroimagining specific to language. I actually thought it was quite good. Not that he taught anything, but i finally understand what is bilateral superior occipital activation. (IF u know this already, fine. dun brag abt it. I've NEVER taken Bio after sec2 and i haven taken bio psychology yet.... --> my greatest fear is biopsych) But well, yesterday during seminar, one student asked the lecturer what "prosodic feature" means. And his face was hilarious. He was like "ah.... in what context may u find that in?" and then she read the sentence. He kinda took a deep breathe... i think he was ready to "Xian1" already. Quite farnie. Decided to be smart and volunteer the answer before he say somehting funny. Tsk. Psychology Lecturer dunno what is prosodic feature. And after i told him my answer, he said "yea, that makes sense. thanks. i'm not a walking dictionary at all am i?" wah lao. hahaha. But see, thats the problem. All the lecturers doing psycholinguistics and neuroimaging... they jus so overly fixated on their own field of thing... Lang and Cog was like that to. Jeremy Tang's number 1, Susan. Haha. She also very couldnt answer simple questions like "whats a 'dental' consonant". But anyway, overall, i actually did think the seminar was good. But the fear of biopsych is still there. Next sem... next sem will be BIOPSYCH.
Had a fun chat with Jeremy Tang and Mil yesterday. Oh, everyone, Jeremy is now officially known as Jereby. HAHA. (Tsin, i think u missed out this joke. Coz we're trying to differentiate the Jeremys. So Mr Tang is Type B. Vey type B right. haha. So he's suppose to be Jeremy B.) But yesterday we decided that Jereby would be a nice name for him. And i still dont trust him. He keeps saying he misses us.. but actually, i think he's just bored coz jo doesnt wanna go out with him. wahahah! And mil, keep strong and keep well. October will be over in a blink. Jus 2 more assignments to go. Enjoy your last year ok! Fight on and keep the morale high. *hugs* And as for Jereby, jokes aside, really happy that u're enjoying your work (and perks). I think its a really meaningful job and I'm sure u make a great therapist. Although i always think your size will intimidate. Enjoy Xbox-ing and do your work well yah! =)
Tsin- Haven been able to stop to talk to u for a while. sorry hor. YEsterday had to run as well. Keep ur head on your shoulders ok. =) Its getting really really cold here. Tsk. Freezing feet and hands. And i do miss u.....
Ed- As i was replying ur tag, sudden thought abt the days we use to go to the market opposite TJ for makan. IT was YOU that made my unbearable days so much more bearable.... Really man. ITs been quite a while.... JC is gone, Uni is almost over.... Soon, I'll have to sing at someone's wedding right... hahaha. U said 24, so thats 3 more years.... Muhahaha! I'm looking forward to this..... =P
PK, Nalin, Aizhen and Chai- Jus thot i'll drop a hello to tell u all that i'm in the nostalgic mood as usual. haha. U ppl are my primary school friends. haha. Tsk. Feel old. Nevermind. Aizhen, will drop by Cambridge to see u if u're still there in december ok. Otherwise, will go down sometime next semester. Pk, my papa and da went to NZ again. just left last night. =( Nalin, hope things are better over there and keep in touch ok. And chai has officially disappeared! =P
