Bak kut teh and conversations =)

I'm suppose to be asleep. Been staying up real late these few days. always 3, 4 am. Had a great supper, Ba kut teh, Sambal Kangkong, Char siew! =) My repertoire is expanding. muhaha. Well, just had a really long chat with Teckie, my evil twin. Despite the fact i still feel disappointed, i cant deny that... after talking, i understand where he's coming from... but... i still dun agree with him. Below is the summary of interesting points raised by him during the conversation.
1)
T: You can have fish, you can have prawn, u can even have both. But no matter wat, u must be willing to pay for it. No such thing as just eat, no need to pay.
E: But the fish and prawn must wan u also. otherwise, no matter how much u pay, also cant get. Some things, not say u give and pay then u can get it.
2)
T: Zut is right la. Cannot means cannot. *waves hand vigorously*
E: Problem is, how do u noe cannot?
T: *shrugs*
3)
T: You know, when someone goes missing, as in like 失踪人口，after a while, u noe wat the family does? They announce the death, so there is closure and end to the chapter. The expectation and wishes that there is still hope and that he will come home one day is torturous. Its better to have a clear end, makes everyone feel better.
E: nods head

E: There is a mourning period and a period of denial before they announce it right?
T: Laughs hysterically.
4)
T: Some people are meant to be friends, they can never be lovers. For example, XX and ZZ. But some people, are only meant to be lovers. Not suitable to be friends. If i break up with my gf, i noe that we cant be friends. Confirm. Dont even need to try. Some things, can means can, cannot means cannot.
E: How u noe wat can and wat cannot?
T: ...... *pretends not to hear qn*
E: And how u noe whether suitable to be friends or not?
T: you noe it la. you will noe it one... for example.... XX and ZZ...
E: *thinks to herself* use back same example. Boring. muhahaha!
5)
T: Your idea of a friend and a boyfriend, is jus so different. This person can be ur best friend, but nv ur bf.
E: Well said. Thats why friend turn bf is impossible for me. Its jus... total opposites la.
T: Yah.U're very entertained by a certain type of guy, but u will nv pick them as ur bf.
E: Tsk. why u so smart?!! But its damm true. If my bf says something lidat, i will roll my eyes. If my friend says it, i will think its super funny.
T: Ahyah, its lidat one la. Thats why there is a difference btw friend and bf.
E: orh. haha. =)
As much as i think he's an evil twin and dun agree with everything he says, i cannot deny that he really is a good friend and he really does understand me. What have i done to deserve this? =) And deserve all of u as well. -thankful-
*by the way, cant rememebr wat it was abt.. but he asked me a question, and i couldnt answer. So i said "this is 天书type question". He laugh and said :"this one must be learn from shengwei one" Muhaha..Wei, are u proud of me?! heehee.
