Why Facebook is better than Friendster? [edited!]
1) People cant view ur profile unless u add them as a friend. (but friendster can do that now too right?)
2) Wall to wall is easier to use than testimonials, becoz u dont need to approve.
3) Friendster photos very difficult to upload. takes forever, i cant b bothered to update my photos. But Facebook, its damm fast.
4) Tagging is fun, becoz u share photos really quickly!

As promised, i decided to blog abt it... haha....
But before i begin, let me talk abt my lesson 1.1 again. Discussing about ex girlfriends. According to one of the funniest people i know- " Please, bringing up the past, and talking about ex-es, is jus so.. girly. its things tt girls do.. not guys. If guys bring up their past relationship, there must be something going on..." I laugh my head off, becoz.. she's jus so cute. She's sooooo absolutely secure abt somethings... but some things.. jus.. cannot.
Which then brings me to re-iterate the point that i cant emphasize enough about. Dear boys, if u read this, u must be my good friend. If u are my good friend, pls, listen to me. When u just get to know a girl, dun tell her all abt ur past r/s... ensure tt u will only b friends, and nothing will happen btw the 2 of u, before u disclose such information. U may be.... unwittingly, digging ur own grave... But good news to some... There are girls in this world, that dun mind u talking abt ur past r/s, or even raving abt ur past r/s for that matter of fact. [i'm not attacking u.im jus saying wat i think.read on, dun scold yet.... haha] and... i honestly, from the bottom of my heart, respect u and think tt u're amazing generous.. and i'm impressed. =)
So basically, different people get pissed at different things. Everyone has sore points or landmines, that u should avoid. Know what they are, and dun say the wrong things. =) There is no rule tt applies to all. heehee.
Next point, do you tink people really put others on hold, jus becoz they like the attention?? I mean, u can deny and be defensive abt it all u like. But honestly, do u? U obviously know someone is interested in u, but yet, u continue to treat him/her nicely, and keep that person there. Wats the rationale behind it?
1) You are oblivious of the obvious signs he/she is giving out.
2) You are just being nice.
3) You dont want to hurt that person.
4)You dont know how to tell that person wat u really feel.
5) You're just reciprocating the nice-ness.
6) Ultimate self denial- No, he doesnt actually like me that way. He's just a good friend.
If u're answer is yes to anyone of the above, u are a LIAR. haha. *grinz*
Come on.... unless u're quite dumb.... i doubt u're totally convinced by any of these explanations. And, dont ever think u're being kind, u're being mean, u're being selfish.. and u're preventing hurt that will eventually come.. and end up hurting the person even more. I admit, the excuse i use all the time is, " i think i'm very obvious already (which i really really think i am!!!), if he still doesnt get it, its not my fault." But its not really about fault is it?!
So, the discussion point is, do people like having someone who likes them.. hanging ard, even if they dont actually like that person? Let me quote a friend.
"Guys are like that. They dont handle the situation now.. they just let things continue to develop. Until some shit state.... they just act ignorant. They just LOVE the attention."
Suddenly, this reminded me of an incident where someone accused me, pointblank, of trying to keep someone there, becoz "maybe u just like the attention". For this particular case, i am not being defensive, but this person has brought tremendous stress and trouble into my life. And yet i feel i need to give "face" and am not able to fight back, or be really mean abt it. If i could, i wished i never knew him at all. I really wished that. -annoyed-
The moral of the story is, dun deny, and be truthful to urself. And be kind to those that like u. Let them go, and let them have a life. They deserve some love too. Like wat yingyi's dad says "Live and let live". (we've been quoting each others dad's recently. Bunny quote my daddy in her blog. so funny) Be defensive all you like.. but in the end, u know, its up to u to make things clear. Agree????
I know i'm opening myself up to attacks from alot of ppl. i can feel it already. haha...
This is wat i've gathered and concluded from conversation with 2 friends today. =)
- Dear Pauline, haha. i jus feel like laughing when i type ur name. dun roll ur eyes. [i jus realized, alot of my friends roll their eyes at me... sobs] well... glad i've been a little inspiring.. and something good has come out of the time "wasted" on silly taiwanese young boys. =)
-Tsin, please be a good girl, and pls study. ok.... i shall change my emoticons for u... tonite... and then try to cut the habit of... inserting weird caps here and there. it will take me some time.. but i am willing to change.. just for u.. hahahaha. well, afterall, i talk to u the most on msn... =P
-Mummy! hahaha. Long time since we last talked. -hugs- i'll email u very soon. And i've never forgotten abt u, or the times we spent together, doing crazy things.. saying crazy things.. laughing at crazy things. When i go back to school to teach, and i look at the students.. and their friends.... doing strange tings.. i think of the mornings we use to sit at the specs stand... talk, laugh .. and look at... erm... wat shld i call that person? onezuka?! spelling right? hahaha.
-Shengwei! i received ur parcel today! Really made my day. Well, when i saw "sweets" i thought it was lime mint. hahaha. i dunno y.. jus tot so. then suddenly remember tt u always buy green apple by accident. hahaha. so funny. Thx so much!!! And.. i didnt forget abt part 3.its jus tt.. i know difficult to send, so i nv ask for it. but i really nv forget. Dont think u're goldfish, then can say everyone else is goldfish. =) Thank u monster!
