dont try too hard

It suddenly occurred to me that the more I try to avoid someone, the more i will bump into that person. And the more i want to bump into someone, the more impossible it is for it to happen.
Just like how, its been almost 5 yrs now, since i last saw C. We all know how small Singapore is, but i've never bumped into C once. And conversely, i see Henry everywhere! Seriously. I've bumped into him at Liang Seah Street, i've seen him drive past in a car, i've seen him in Bugis area, our lives converged again in 04 and he became stage manager of a show that until now, i dont know wat its got to do with him, again in 05, i met him when he came to watch my performance. (he came not becoz of me, but he came to backstage to say hi.) Its jus quite crazy.
The moral of the story is? I dont noe. I shouldnt try too hard for the things i want, coz the harder i try, the worse it gets. But then again, i'm jus thinking, maybe i have seen C ard, but i jus never actually noticed him... and i notice henry becoz... he is the purple monster. haha. All my friend's know him as purple monster i think. Except fish. Fish calls him, purple cookie monster. *shrugs*
