there is so much to smile about...

There are some days I come back from work feeling like.... " oh, this world is just so bloody unfair"... but quite a bit of the time, i come home smiling and thinking... there is really love in the world.
For all the bad publicity we get about maid abuses in Singapore, we do have fantastic employers as well. I saw a case where a lady brought her maid to hospital for treatment of depression. She pays for her maid's treatment, and personally brings her to hospital for checkups and follow ups. I dont think it matters at all, how rich the lady is. The fact that she bothers... *smile*
A lady with paranoid schizophrenia. Hospitalized for the nth time this year. Her husband stays over at the hospital with her... When she refuses to be compliant with regards to medication, her husband strokes her back and only words of comfort and encouragement from him. Not the slightest bit of annoyance or frustration. He is under a great amount of pressure as well. But for the sake of her, he hangs on.. and remembers to smile. And when she's discharged, they both carry their stuff, and walk out to the bus stop, hand in hand. *smile*
There is a lot of things in the world to smile for and smile about. There r bound to be lots of things to frown about too.. but oh well.. just dont think about it okay! *heehee
This is the last weekend i'm gonna have time to rest and relax. My work schedule next week has just gone totally crazy. I'm working like... 13 hrs a day.. and saturday full day... 9-5. cool huh... I'm wondering if i should take leave for the 21st. I mean.. i definitely have to meet Fish and 61 grp that day.. coz fishie friend is flying off at night. And... i mean.. i really shouldnt work 9-5 on the 21st right?! but then again, wats the big deal? How how how?!?!
