diamonds again!

I absolutely cant stand being late. Recently, i've been late more often then i've been early or on time. I cant stand the feeling of being so out of control of my own time. I use to be late coz the last patient at the hospital wouldnt stop rattling on.. Then i started being late becoz i got stuck in school with my students and couldnt get off as i should. And then, its even worse.. coz i compulsively check my email and it seems like everytime i am abt to step out of the house, i get an important email that i need to respond to. This is really lack of internal locus of control. Yucks. I still prefer being early, and then blaming the other ppl for being late. =)

Anywayz, thank goodness the bus was nice to me, and waited, so i wasnt all that late. Met a friend for lunch. Shall not mention names. Just in case i give it away later.

We had an interesting talk about my recent pet topic, no no.. not school counselling. Thats my baby. haha. Its.. DIAMONDS! So here it goes.

My friend heard Miss A commenting on her friends proposal ring:" Har? The diamond so small? I cant even find it man. Where? Goodness. Like that also u willing to marry him ah?"

My ever funny friend also comments that at 24, Miss A still can complain diamond too small. But if at 30, no diamond, also she will marry la. Muhahaha!

My only comment is, what the big deal abt diamonds? I still dont get it!! If im a guy, and my gf complains the diamond is too small, she wont marry me.. i'll tell her, i wont marry her. And nothing will make me marry her. Who the hell wants a girl who is only interested in ur diamond? Oh my gosh...

Anyone care to enlighten me further abt diamonds? or rather, wats the big deal about diamonds?
