Shadows.

There seems to be many things I wanna blog about. But of cos I am paranoid that someone is going to reprimand me for being too cryptic. So lets try to be more clear this time yah. =P
Today is someone's birthday. Someone really really special. The only person who loves me unconditionally (aside from my parents of course). Anyone who has come to my house has experienced her mighty powers and dagger stares. haha. Happy birthday Nai Ma. =)
I cried this morning talking to her. She was telling me who has called this morning to wish her happy birthday and how her children are planning a dinner for her (which she complains, dont want la.. waste money). Her children have organized a bday dinner for her and invited all of us as well. She's really very blessed.
And on the other hand, I see another mother worrying about her child. Worrying about everything... being paranoid. It really hurts to see how someone who is so loved simply disregards it.

I want to blog about playing Shadows. We played a cooperative game on thursday night, and one of the players is a traitor. And we had to find out who the traitor is.
I must admit that I was a little unhappy playing it especially since Evan kept on bloody insisting that I was the traitor. I AM LOYAL. EVERYONE, I AM LOYAL.
Everyone was suspicious. Was it because we all did things that were dodgy? No. It was because, we were not trusting of each other. Because we were doubting each other. 只要种下怀疑的种子, 无论你的行为如何,我们都能解读成背叛的行为。
Lets start with talking about Ai Wen.
- No. 1, he went to the solo quest and stayed there for 2 turns before making any action. ( Reason: he was trying to build up resources to play the quest) -- Read as: Hogging the solo quest and not doing anything.
-No.2, he put out Fight 1 pair and Fight 2 pair to play the quest. (Reason: he has special powers to play a big card at the end of the quest.)-- Read as: trying to lose the quest without being too obvious.
Lets talk about our smartest player in the group, JG. [ please people, stop laughing. pay attention can.. tsk.]
-His is very simple. You simply dont know whether his not-so-smart moves are the consequence of his character as the traitor or the direct result of his blurness.
Hmm, now is LMR.
-Her special powers allowed her take a peep at the black card, and decide whether to do it or put it back on the top pile. And hey, she didnt have a Merlin card but she placed the black card as the second last card of the quest. i.e. if the next person who draws a card for that quest does not have a merlin, we lose the quest. (Her Reason: she forgot that by doing that it meant one more card to losing the quest. And it was a very very small card so she thought it was ok.) Read as: Traitor!
And myself.
-I still dont know what i did to make people think im the traitor. Maybe cos i accused Evan. But Evan insisted that I gave out bad advice. Tsk.
And for King Aurther.
-She got very annoyed and irritated when everyone kept harping on who the traitor is. LMR read that as trying to avoid being guessed.
-She went over to the Holy grail instead of staying put to fight seige engines.
Yes, King Aurther is the traitor.
Moral of the story: If you dont trust, you will always attribute the person's actions in a negative way.
